QUINOA SWEET SNACKS
INGREDIENTS
120 g popped Quinoa
60 g
Powdered milk
200 g Sugar cain
90 g Butter
Vanilla essence
Dissolve
the sugar in ½ cups of warm water. Add butter and mix until well blended.
Add powdered milk, vanilla and popped quinoa and mix well.
AMARANTH CAKE
INGREDIENTS
1 cup of brown sugar
300 g
Butter
3 cups of whear flour
5 eggs
2 cups of Amaranth flour
3 tsp
Baking powder
1 shot
singani (grape liqueur)
Orange juice ( 5 oranges)
Vanilla essences
Mix sugar and butter until well blended, then add eggs yolks and continue beating. Mix in another bowl all flours and baking powder. Add flour mix to the butter and slowly add the orange juice. Add vanilla essence and the liqueur (singani). In case the mixture becomes too dry add cold water until obtaining the right texture. Beat the whites, add to the butter, mixing daintly. Empty the mixture in a greased baking pan, bake at 180o for about 45 minutes.
